Welcome to Institute Krav Maga Ireland’s website. Throughout this document, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Institute Krav Maga Ireland. We provide this website, along with all information, tools, and services available from this site, to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.
Acceptance of Terms
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.
Modifications to the Service and Terms
Any new features or tools added to the current website shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Third-Party Services
Our website is connected to Stripe.com and GoCardless.com. They provide us with the online customer relationship platforms that allow us to sell our products and services to you. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms and conditions, and we are not responsible for any actions or omissions of these third-party service providers.
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your county, state or province of residence, and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.
JOINING FEE
€30 registration fee (once off payment) is required for all membership plans.
MEMBERSHIP
For Adult Basic and Adult Elite Unlimited monthly memberships, there is a minimum term of 3 calendar months/ 12 weeks from the initiation date. If you decide to cancel at the end of this initial period, simply send a written notice via email to info@institutekravmaga.ie. Following the completion of the 3-month minimum term, your membership will automatically transition to a monthly rolling membership. Cancellation requires a 30-day written notice, which should be sent to the same email address. Failure to provide the required notice will result in charges for the subsequent months. It’s important to note that all memberships, regardless of type, are non-transferable and cannot be assigned to another individual under any circumstances. Additionally, please be aware that cancellations cannot be processed or requested in person at the gym reception desk or via telephone..
Kids and Teens memberships commence with no minimum term, and the initiation date signifies the start. You will enter a monthly rolling membership immediately. If you wish to cancel your membership with Institute Krav Maga Ireland, you must send a written notice via email to info@institutekravmaga.ie, providing 30 days’ notice. Failure to provide the requisite notice will result in charges for the following months. Similar to adult memberships, all memberships for kids and teens are non-transferable and cannot be transferred to another individual under any circumstances. Please note that cancellations cannot be processed or requested in person at the gym reception desk or via telephone. Additionally, there are no suspensions, cancellations, or refunds for discounted block cash payments.
SUSPENDING OR PAUSING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
If you need to take a break for any reason, whether it’s due to injury or extended travel, you have the option to pause your membership. This allows you to maintain your club membership status without attending classes during your break. However, please note that memberships cannot be suspended or paused during the initial 3-month term. To request a pause after this initial period, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. It’s important to note that we do not backdate pause requests, so be sure to reach out to us in advance.
BANK HOLIDAYS
We do not run classes on Public/ Bank Holidays.
MID-TERM BREAK
We don’t run kids/ juniors classes during mid-term holiday breaks.
KIDS & TEENS SUMMER HOLIDAYS JULY AND AUGUST
We do not hold kids, juniors, or teens classes during the summer holidays in July and August. All kids and teens membership plans will be paused during these months and will reactivate with the first class in September. Any classes missed in June will be credited in September. If you choose to cancel your child’s membership in June, no credits or refunds will be issued for September after the summer break.
CHRISTMAS/ NEW YEAR/ SUMMER ANNUAL HOLIDAYS
We take our annual holiday break for 2 weeks over the Christmas/New Year period and 2 weeks over the summer holiday period July/ August. The exact dates may vary each year and will be posted on our Facebook members group and announced in class. We do not suspend membership payments during the holidays.
OCCASIONAL CLASSES CANCELLATION
Institute of Krav Maga Ireland will NOT refund part membership payments for classes not attended, occasional class cancellations due to bad weather, instructor illness , have to temporarily close for maintenance/events or similar activities, nor when we have informed members of a cancellation in advance, or for classes which are suspended during the holiday periods. For any occasional classes, cancellation students have 2 weeks to cover their class regardless of the training package. We do our best to run classes on a regular basis and on 99% of the time we succeed, but sometimes cancellation is not up to us. You have always different location or day to cover your missed class.
ADULT TRIAL CLASS
The cost of an adult trial class is 14.99 euros. Trial Class bookings are non-refundable. If you cancel your booking, you will be given a class credit to use within 7 days of your booking. Please note that the credit expires after 7 days. You can only reschedule your trial class once. You can only book a trial class once.
Teen Krav Maga Martial Arts Camp 2024
Participants aged 11-16 are required to maintain respectful conduct, wear designated safety gear during sessions, and adhere to emergency procedures outlined by the camp. All attendees and their legal guardians must sign liability waivers acknowledging the inherent risks associated with martial arts training. The camp reserves the right to amend terms and conditions as necessary, and attendees are prohibited from consuming alcohol or drugs on camp premises. Refunds will not be issued for participant-initiated cancellations.
Institute Krav Maga Ireland Level 1 Instructor Course
Please be aware that your €100 deposit is non-refundable. Additionally, the course necessitates a minimum of 6 participants to proceed; if this threshold is not reached, we retain the right to cancel the course, resulting in a full refund of your deposit. No refunds will be issued for missed course days. Before attending, participants must complete a waiver and ensure they are in good health and physical condition. Participants engage in training at their own risk.
ADULTS FUNDAMENTALS INTRODUCTORY COURSE
Once booked, we will not refund you in the event that you cannot attend your fundamentals course . If you do not contact us and have missed you fundamentals course, we will assume you are no longer interested and will remove your details from our bookings file. If you do contact 21 days before start day us to change you booking, we will allow one change of booking for free. If you cancel less than 21 days before the event starts no refunds will be given. In the case of courses, no refunds (full or partial) will be given for missed sessions. After one booking amendment has been made, you will be required to book online again, if you wish to attend a future fundamentals course date. You can print out the waiver ahead of time or fill it out at the training facility. A parent or legal guardian’s signature is required on for all students 18 years old or younger. All participants of the course need to have own equipment, training gloves, gum shield.
WOMEN ONLY SELF DEFENCE COURSE
Once booked, we will not refund you in the event that you cannot attend your WOMEN ONLY 10 WEEK COURSE or any classes NOT attended. If you do not contact us and have missed your women only course, we will assume you are no longer interested and will remove your details from our bookings file. If you do contact us 21 days before course start date to change your booking, we will allow one change of booking for free for next course. After one booking amendment has been made, you will be required to book online again, if you wish to attend a future women only 10 week course date. A signed updated COVID-19 waiver is required prior to entering the building and participating in class. You can print out the waiver ahead of time or fill it out at the training facility. A parent or legal guardian’s signature is required on for all students 18 years old or younger.
WOMEN ONLY SELF DEFENCE SEMINAR POLICY
Upon booking, the deposit for the seminar is non-refundable.
Participants have the option to complete the waiver in advance or at the
training facility. For students under 18 years old, a parent or legal
guardian’s signature is mandatory..
KIDS AND TEENS MARTIAL ARTS MEMBERSHIP AGE DETAILS
Our Kids Martial Arts membership at Institute Krav Maga is designed for children between the ages of 6 and 15 years old. For individuals aged 15, 16, and 17 years old, they have the option to join our adult classes with written parental consent. It’s important to note that parents must attend the first session to set up any payments and meet the instructor(s).
WOMEN SELF DEFENCE INSTRUCTOR COURSE
If you book a course and cannot make it then we can offer you an alternative date if the one you booked does not suit for whatever reason. You just need to let us know which alternative date/s suit and we can make the change.
We will not, however, refund a course unless the request is over 60 days before the course start date.
ADULT FUNDAMENTALS COURSE
Our beginner’s course is open to individuals of all experience levels, whether you’re new to Krav Maga or have prior martial arts training.
Safety Equipment Required for All Students:
Mandatory:
– Groin Guard
– Striking Gloves 6-8oz Gloves: These gloves safeguard your knuckles and wrists during punching while allowing for light contact during self-defense practice.
– Mouth Guards: Protect your teeth as a precautionary measure.
Recommended
– Institute Krav Maga Ireland Club T-Shirt
– Forearm Protectors: Recommended for preventing forearm injuries during blocking maneuvers and knife attacks.
IMPROVED CLASS ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT GUIDELINES
To be eligible for INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CLASSES, attendance of a minimum of 3 MONTHS of BEGINNERS CLASSES is required. Please consult your instructor for confirmation.
Safety equipment is mandatory for participation in all INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CLASSES.”

– Shin Guards: Essential for protecting your shins during kicking and blocking exercises.
– Mouth Guards: Protect your teeth from any unexpected impact.
– Striking Gloves 6-8oz Gloves: Safeguard your knuckles and wrists during punching exercises. Additionally, they allow for light-contact practice of self-defense techniques.
– 14 or 16oz Boxing Gloves: Necessary for safe sparring sessions and other training drills.
RECOMMENDED ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT:
– Forearm Protectors: Recommended for preventing forearm injuries during blocking maneuvers against punches and knife attacks.
– Headguard: Provides extended protection for your nose and teeth. Also useful for advanced Krav Maga drills.
Student Code of Conduct and Safety Guidelines for Classes:
1. Remove all metal objects, jewelry, piercings, necklaces, and other items before class.
2. Switch off or mute mobile phones before entering the class.
3. If you arrive late, please wait by the side of the training area until given permission by the Instructor to join the class.
4. Permission must be sought from the Instructor before leaving the class, whether temporarily for the toilet or permanently.
5. Maintain minimal conversation during class, focusing only on topics related to the class.
6. Absolutely no foul language is tolerated during Institute Krav Maga Ireland Classes. Any rude or abusive language or threats of violence will not be tolerated.
7. Report any accidents, injuries, or incidents to the Instructor immediately.
8. Show respect towards your surroundings, staff, instructors, and fellow members at all times.
9. Avoid using excessive force during class, even during sparring sessions. Remember, injuries affect the whole team.
10. Keep fingernails short to ensure everyone’s safety, and maintain high personal hygiene standards.
11. Ensure your uniform is clean at all times. A dirty uniform reflects disrespect. If you attend more than one class per day, change into a fresh uniform for each class. The uniform consists of an Institute Krav Maga Ireland Club T-shirt and black trousers or shorts.
12. Official Institute Krav Maga Ireland T-shirts are required attire for all classes.
13. Use only approved protective equipment and clothing during class. Non-approved sparring equipment is not allowed.
14. Members are responsible for their own training equipment and ensuring it is suitable for use.
15. Members are solely responsible for their personal property. Do not leave your training equipment unattended in class, as it may be lost or misplaced.
16. Instructors have the authority to refuse admission to anyone deemed unfit to train or behaving in a dangerous or inappropriate manner.
Child Protection Policy

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By enrolling in classes at Artur Dziadkowiec T/A Institute Krav Maga Ireland, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
- Release of Liability: You understand and accept the risks associated with studying Krav Maga martial arts. You release Artur Dziadkowiec Institute Krav Maga Ireland, its instructors, volunteers, and fellow students from any and all liabilities for injuries, illness, or property damage sustained during training, studying, practicing, or applying martial arts techniques.

Health and Physical Condition: You confirm that you are in good physical condition and know of no reason why you cannot safely participate in martial arts activities.

No Refunds Policy: You acknowledge that Institute Krav Maga Ireland does not offer refunds under any circumstances.

Medical Authorization: In case of a medical emergency, you authorize licensed medical personnel to administer necessary medical procedures and agree to bear all associated expenses.
By signing up for classes, you signify your acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not enroll in classes at Artur Dziadkowiec Institute Krav Maga Ireland.
Severability and Acknowledgement of Risk
If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be illegal, outdated, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed and deleted from these terms, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
We expressly disclaim liability for any failure of users to openly communicate faults or issues with our services, which are later raised in legal action. Accessing our website is undertaken at your own sole risk and liability without exception.
Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions and the agreement we create at any time by updating this posting. Such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting on the website. You are encouraged to review these terms regularly for any changes. Your continued use of the website after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the modified terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
