OVERVIEW
This website is operated by Institute Krav Maga Ireland. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Institute Krav Maga Ireland offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.
Any new features or tools which are added to the current website shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
WEBSITE TERMS
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your county, state or province of residence, and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.
JOINING FEE
€30 registration fee (once off payment) is required for all membership plans.
MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS
No minimum Term Contract. All Memberships are not transferable.
Institute Krav Maga Ireland offers memberships packages for 16+ and Adults and Kids and Teens 6 – 15 yrs old:
16+ AND ADULT BASIC MEMBERSHIP – 79 euro inc VAT/ month paid by Direct Debit
16+ AND ADULT ELITE UNLIMITED TRAINING- 99 euro inc. VAT/ month paid by Direct Debit
KIDS AND TEENS MARTIAL ARTS MEMBERSHIP 6 TO 15YRS OLD – 65 euro inc.VAT/ month paid by Direct Debit
KIDS AND TEENS MARTIAL ARTS TWO CHILDREN MEMBERSHIP 6 TO 15YRS OLD – 110 euro inc.VAT/ month paid by Direct Debit
KIDS AND TEENS MARTIAL ARTS MEMBERSHIP THREE CHILDREN 6 TO 15YRS OLD – 150 euro inc.VAT/ month paid by Direct Debit
KIDS AND TEENS MARTIAL ARTS MEMBERSHIP FOUR CHILDREN 6 TO 15YRS OLD – 200 euro inc.VAT/ month paid by Direct Debit
BANK HOLIDAYS
We do not run classes on Public/ Bank Holidays.
MID-TERM BREAK
We don’t run kids/ juniors classes during mid-term holiday breaks.
KIDS & TEENS SUMMER HOLIDAYS JULY AND AUGUST
We don’t run kids/ juniors/ teens classes during summer holidays in July and August. All kids/ teens membership plans will be paused during July and August and reactivate on the first class start of September.
CHRISTMAS/ NEW YEAR/ SUMMER ANNUAL HOLIDAYS
We take our annual leave for 2 weeks over the Christmas/ New Year period and 2 weeks during the summer holiday period. Exact dates may vary each year and will be posted on our Facebook group and via email.
ADULT ONE SESSION/ BASIC / ELITE/ KIDS/ JUNIOR/TEENS MEMBERSHIP CANCELATTION
If you need to cancel your subscription for any reason simply email us at info@institutekravmaga.ie with minimum 30 days of notice and we’ll cancel your membership. Cancellations cannot be requested or facilitated at the gym reception.
Should you wish to cancel your membership and cease training with Institute Krav Maga Ireland, you are required to give a 30 days of notice prior to the cancellation of your direct debit, in writing. Depending on your recurring direct debit date, this requires you to pay between your direct debit date and cancellation date.
Canceling directly with your bank without giving us written notice will attract a cancellation fee of €100 plus an additional months’ membership payment, enforced by our monthly fee collections service provider and other external DEBT COLLECTION AGENCIES. There is no cancellation possible before your first payment is collected – if you cancel your DD/ Payment in your BANK before first payment is collected , we will and other external DEBT COLLECTION AGENCIES will recover the outstanding debt plus €100 CANCELATION FEE if you won’t pay any outstanding balance within 7 days from your bank cancellation date. To avoid all of those actions please always give a full calendar month of notice to cancel your membership by contacting us on info@institutekravmaga.ie.
ADULT ONE SESSION/BASIC /ELITE/ KIDS/ JUNIOR/TEENS MEMBERSHIP PAUSE/ SUSPEND
No. Only upfront annual memberships will be considered for suspension on medical grounds. The time missed will start from the date you informed us in writing and must be accompanied by a Doctor’s note for a maximum of 6 months. Direct Debit Stripe or GoCardless memberships cannot be suspended.
OCCASIONAL CLASSES CANCELLATION
Institute of Krav Maga Ireland will NOT refund part membership payments for classes not attended, occasional class cancellations due to bad weather, instructor illness , have to temporarily close for maintenance/events or similar activities, nor when we have informed members of a cancellation in advance, or for classes which are suspended during the holiday periods. For any occasional classes, cancellation students have 2 weeks to cover their class regardless of the training package. We do our best to run classes on a regular basis and on 99% of the time we succeed, but sometimes cancellation is not up to us. You have always different location or day to cover your missed class.
ADULTS FUNDAMENTALS INTRODUCTORY COURSE
Once booked, we will not refund you in the event that you cannot attend your fundamentals course . If you do not contact us and have missed you fundamentals course, we will assume you are no longer interested and will remove your details from our bookings file. If you do contact 21 days before start day us to change you booking, we will allow one change of booking for free. If you cancel less than 21 days before the event starts no refunds will be given. In the case of courses, no refunds (full or partial) will be given for missed sessions. After one booking amendment has been made, you will be required to book online again, if you wish to attend a future fundamentals course date. A signed updated COVID-19 waiver is required prior to entering the building and participating in course. You can print out the waiver ahead of time or fill it out at the training facility. A parent or legal guardian’s signature is required on for all students 18 years old or younger. All participants of the course need to have own equipment, training gloves, gum shield. No equipment is share at the moment to stop potential spread of COVID 19.
WOMEN ONLY SELF DEFENCE COURSE
Once booked, we will not refund you in the event that you cannot attend your WOMEN ONLY 10 WEEK COURSE or any classes NOT attended. If you do not contact us and have missed your women only course, we will assume you are no longer interested and will remove your details from our bookings file. If you do contact us 21 days before course start date to change your booking, we will allow one change of booking for free for next course. After one booking amendment has been made, you will be required to book online again, if you wish to attend a future women only 10 week course date. A signed updated COVID-19 waiver is required prior to entering the building and participating in class. You can print out the waiver ahead of time or fill it out at the training facility. A parent or legal guardian’s signature is required on for all students 18 years old or younger.

required to book online again, if you wish to attend a future women only

KIDS AND TEENS MARTIAL ARTS MEMBERSHIP
Institute Krav Maga Kids Martial Arts membership must be aged between 6 and 14 years old.
15, 16 and 17 years old may join our adult classes with written parental consent. Parents must attend the first session to set up any payments and meet the instructor(s)
If you need to cancel your child/ children subscription for any reason simply email us with minimum 30 days of notice and we’ll cancel your membership. You will be required to pay during the notice period.
WOMEN SELF DEFENCE INSTRUCTOR COURSE
If you book a course and cannot make it then we can offer you an alternative date if the one you booked does not suit for whatever reason. You just need to let us know which alternative date/s suit and we can make the change.
We will not, however, refund a course unless the request is over 60 days before the course start date.
ADULT FUNDAMENTALS COURSE
Beginners course are open for everybody with or without any previous experience in Krav Maga or any other martial arts.

MMA 6-8oz Gloves – to protect your knuckles and wrist while punching. An additional benefit from having them is that you can go with light contact while practising your self-defence techniques
Mouth Guards – to protect your teeth just in case.
RECOMMENDED:
Institute Krav Maga Ireland club T-Shirt
Forearm Protectors – to prevent forearm injuries during blocking punches and knife attacks.
Shin Guards – to protect your shins when practising kicking and
blocking.
ADULT BEGINNERS/ ALL LEVELS / KIDS/ TEENS/ INTERMEDIATE CLASSES
You need to attend at least 3 MONTHS OF BEGINNERS CLASSES to be eligible to attend INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CLASSES. Please check with your instructor.

14 or 16oz Boxing Gloves – for safe sparring and other drills
RECOMMENDED:
Forearm Protectors – to prevent forearm injuries during blocking punches and knife attacks.
Headguard – for extended protection of your nose and teeth. Also used for advanced krav maga drills.
Students CODE OF CONDUCT and general safety on the classes.
All metal objects, jewellery, piercing, necklaces and other items must be removed before class.
Mobile phones must be switched off or muted before class.
If you are late for class, please sit by the side of the training area and wait for permission from the Instructor to join in the class.
If you need to leave the class for the toilet or permanently you must ask permission from the Instructor.
Talking should be kept to a minimum level and should relate to the class subject ONLY.
Absolutely no foul language on Institute Krav Maga Ireland Classes. We will not tolerate rude or abusive language or the threat or use of violence.
Any accident, injury or incident should be reported to Instructor immediately.
Be respectful of your surroundings, staff, instructors and all members.
Do not use excessive force in class, even when sparring. We are a team, injuries only mean one less training partner.
Keep fingernails short for everyone’s safety, personal hygiene should be kept to a very high standard.
The uniform must be clean at all times. A dirty uniform is a sign of disrespect. If you partake in more than one class per day, you must have a fresh uniform for the following class. By uniform, we mean Institute Krav Maga Ireland Club T shirt and black trousers or shorts.
We request students to wear official Institute Krav Maga Ireland T shirts for all classes.
Approved protective equipment/clothing must be used in class. We do not allow the use of non-approved sparring equipment.
Members are responsible for their own training equipment and to ensure equipment is fit for purpose.
Members are solely responsible for their own personal property. Do not leave your training equipment at the classes as they may be lost.
Instructors have the right to refuse admission to any person deemed unfit to train, or behaving in a dangerous, unsuitable manner.
Institute Krav Maga Ireland reserves the right to amend the rules at any time, including the membership fee payable, change to classes timetable. or any class
With the Coronavirus (Covid 19) now in Ireland we ask you to please ensure you follow the below instructions for the health and safety of all members & staff:
- A signed updated COVID-19 waiver is required prior to entering the building and participating in class. You can print out the waiver ahead of time or fill it out at the training facility. A parent or legal guardian’s signature is required on for all students 18 years old or younger.
- Please arrive no earlier than 5 MINUTES prior to your chosen class time
- Hand sanitiser is provided at the entering the class it is to be used when needed before your training session
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough and sneeze, put used tissues into the bin and wash your hands.
- Wash your hands properly and regularly with soap and water or the alcohol- based hand sanitizer provided.
- If you’re exhibiting any symptoms, have been in contact with a person with Coronavirus please stay home from training and don’t come to the gym
Members of our coaching staff will continue to disinfect and clean the gym after every training session, but we ask our members to help where they can!
PRECAUTIONARY COVID – 19 LIABILITY RELEASE
I understand that this business, “Institute Krav Maga Ireland” cannot be held liable for any exposure to the virusor any other contagion caused by misinformation or health history provided by myself, the client /student. I agree to release the business “Institute Krav Maga Ireland”from any and all liability for the unintentional exposure or harm due to COVID – 19. This business, Institute Krav Maga Ireland will agree that they abide by these standards and affirm the same.
Institute of Krav Maga Ireland also affirms that they have improved and expanded the sanitation protocols tomore thoroughly fight the spread of COVID – 19 and other communicable condition.
