Welcome to Institute Krav Maga Ireland. Throughout this document the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Institute Krav Maga Ireland.
By accessing our website, purchasing services, or enrolling in classes, seminars, camps, or other training activities, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
These terms apply to all members, students, parents or guardians of students, and visitors using our services or attending training at Institute Krav Maga Ireland.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any part of our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the website or participate in any classes or services provided by Institute Krav Maga Ireland.
Acceptance of Terms During Online Payment
When purchasing memberships, seminars, camps or other services through our online payment system including Stripe or other payment providers, customers may be required to confirm acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
By ticking the acceptance box and completing payment, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
This confirmation is legally binding and applies to the person making the payment and to any participant enrolled in the activity.
Modification of Terms
Institute Krav Maga Ireland reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Changes will be posted on the website and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Third Party Services
Our website may use third party payment processors such as Stripe or GoCardless to process payments.
Your use of these services is subject to the terms and conditions of those providers. Institute Krav Maga Ireland is not responsible for the policies or actions of third party providers.
Membership
All memberships operate on a monthly rolling basis.
There is no minimum contract term. Membership begins from the date of registration and renews automatically each month using the payment method provided.
Memberships are personal and non transferable and cannot be assigned to another individual.
Institute Krav Maga Ireland reserves the right to adjust membership fees when necessary. Members will be notified in advance of any changes.
Adult Membership Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your membership you must send written notice by email to:
A minimum of 30 days notice is required.
After cancellation notice is received, one final payment may be taken during the notice period. The membership will remain active for 30 days from the date of notice.
Members may continue attending classes during this notice period.
Cancellation requests must be submitted by email. Cancellations cannot be processed in person, through social media messages, or by telephone.
Kids and Teens Membership Cancellation
Kids and Teens memberships operate on a monthly rolling basis and also require 30 days written notice by email for cancellation to:

Children participating in the Kids and Teens programme must normally be between the ages of 6 and 15 years old.
Students aged 16 or 17 may join adult classes with written parental consent.
Suspending or Pausing Membership
Membership pauses may be requested in situations such as injury, illness, or extended travel for a maximum period of two months.
Requests must be submitted by email at least 48 hours in advance.
Membership pauses cannot be backdated and approval is at the discretion of Institute Krav Maga Ireland.
Payment Authorisation and Billing Agreement
By purchasing a membership, seminar, camp, or any other service through our online payment system, you authorise Institute of Krav Maga Ireland T/A Artur Dziadkowiec to charge the payment method provided for the applicable fees.
For recurring memberships, you authorise automatic monthly payments using the payment method on file until the membership is cancelled according to the cancellation policy.
By completing payment and accepting these Terms and Conditions, you agree not to initiate unjustified chargebacks or payment disputes with your bank or payment provider without first contacting Institute of Krav Maga Ireland T/A Artur Dziadkowiec to resolve the issue.
Payment Failure
If a membership payment fails or is declined by the bank, the member will be notified and must update their payment details as soon as possible.
Access to classes may be suspended until the outstanding payment has been resolved.
Institute Krav Maga Ireland reserves the right to cancel memberships where payments remain unpaid.
Bank Holidays
Classes are not held on public or bank holidays.
Kids and Teens Summer Break
Kids and Teens classes do not run during July and August.
Memberships for these programmes may be paused during this period and will resume with the first class in September.
Annual Holidays
Institute Krav Maga Ireland normally takes a short holiday break during the Christmas and New Year period. Dates may vary each year and will be communicated to members in advance.
Occasional Class Cancellations
Occasionally classes may be cancelled due to instructor illness, severe weather, maintenance or circumstances beyond our control.
Where possible we will offer alternative training opportunities. Refunds will not be issued for occasional class cancellations.
Free Trial Class
Institute Krav Maga Ireland offers one free trial class for new students.
The trial class allows new participants to experience a regular class before deciding whether to join.
Only one free trial class is permitted per person and must be booked in advance.
If a trial class booking is missed or cancelled, Institute Krav Maga Ireland is not obliged to offer another free trial.
Women Self Defence Seminars
Women Self Defence seminars may require a deposit to secure a place.
Deposits are non refundable.
If a participant cannot attend the seminar they booked, they may request to transfer their place to another seminar date, subject to availability.
If a participant does not attend the seminar without prior notice, the payment or deposit will be forfeited.
Institute Krav Maga Ireland reserves the right to reschedule or cancel seminars if necessary.
Teen Self Defence Summer Camp
Participation in the Teen Self Defence Summer Camp requires a deposit to secure a place.
Deposits are non refundable.
If a participant cancels their place, the deposit will not be refunded.
If a participant fails to attend the camp or misses any training sessions, no refunds will be issued for missed sessions.
Institute Krav Maga Ireland reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful.
No refunds will be issued in such cases.
Right to Refuse Training
Institute Krav Maga Ireland reserves the right to refuse training or terminate a membership if a student behaves in a dangerous, disrespectful, or inappropriate manner or if their behaviour puts other students or instructors at risk.
No refunds will be issued if membership is terminated due to misconduct.
Assumption of Risk
Martial arts training involves physical contact and carries a risk of injury.
By participating in classes or training sessions, students acknowledge these risks and agree to train at their own risk.
Students must inform instructors of any injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations before participating in training.
Code of Conduct
Students must treat instructors and fellow students with respect at all times.
Unsafe behaviour, excessive force, foul language, or disrespectful conduct may result in removal from class or termination of membership.
Students must follow all safety instructions given by instructors.
Photo and Video Consent
During classes, seminars or events Institute Krav Maga Ireland may occasionally take photographs or video recordings for training, promotional or marketing purposes.
By participating in our classes or events, you consent to the use of such images or recordings on our website, social media platforms and promotional materials.
If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos you must inform the instructor in writing before participating.
Personal Property
Members are responsible for their own personal belongings and equipment. Institute Krav Maga Ireland is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Child Protection
Institute Krav Maga Ireland prioritises the safety and wellbeing of children. Staff are Garda vetted and appropriate safeguarding procedures are followed.
Any concerns regarding child welfare must be reported immediately to the designated Child Protection Officer.
Parental Responsibility and Supervision
Parents or guardians remain responsible for their children before and after scheduled class times.
Institute Krav Maga Ireland instructors supervise children only during the scheduled class session. Parents or guardians must ensure children are collected promptly after class and behave safely while entering or leaving the training facility.
Institute Krav Maga Ireland cannot accept responsibility for children outside the designated training time.
Liability
By enrolling in classes at Institute Krav Maga Ireland T/ A Artur Dziadkowiec you/ your child acknowledge and accept the risks associated with martial arts training.
You release Institute Krav Maga Ireland, its instructors, staff and volunteers from liability for injuries sustained during training except where required by Irish law.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.
